Responsible for the administration of all District day to day operations, staff, programs, and events.Prepare and deliver a monthly operations report to the Board of Commissioners at the board meeting.Reconcile financial statements & track budget and expenditures throughout the fiscal yearPrepare drafts of all ordinances, budgets, tax levies, fee schedules, and other policies for board consideration and approval.Interact with customers and vendors on park rentals and purchase of equipment, supplies, and materials for District operational purposes.Hire, direct, supervise, evaluate, discipline, and terminate all other employees of the District as needed.Plan, advertise, and execute a comprehensive community recreational program including playgrounds, athletic facilities, special events, programs, and classes.Ensure all legal requirements with the county, state, and federal government regarding completion and filing of paperwork, prevailing wage in government construction projects, tax exemptions for park property, and ordinance filings are complied with each year.

Substitute for teachers and aides as needed in a variety of subjects. Maintain order in the classroom for the day and implement the lesson plans of the regular teacher.
