I successfully led GM’s Validation initiatives, driving industry leadership through strategic influence, strong relationship-building, and meticulous planning. In my role, I provided coaching to all North America GM Validation Engineers, guiding them through pre-sourcing to production activities and ensuring seamless execution of validation processes. I developed and implemented strategic validation plans that resulted in cost reductions, improved timelines, and alignment of validation teams around shared organizational goals. Through close collaboration with cross-functional teams, I ensured the successful alignment and execution of GM’s overarching strategy.I maintained regular engagement with senior management, engineering teams, supplier quality, and suppliers to assess performance, identify improvement opportunities, and drive continuous enhancement. By reviewing and providing critical feedback on hardware and software designs, I ensured full alignment with validation requirements. I managed validation requirements for sourcing documentation and design changes, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout the process. Additionally, I led supplier validation review meetings, driving the resolution of action items and issues to support smooth validation workflows.I proactively partnered with cross-functional teams to elevate awareness of validation needs and played a key role in reviewing and approving testing data across critical areas including Environmental, EMC, Diagnostic, Serial Data, Cybersecurity, and Software. In addition to these responsibilities, I led cost reduction initiatives within infotainment validation and engineered a roof antenna design change that eliminated water leaks and significantly reduced warranty claims. Throughout my tenure, I also prioritized mentoring and career development for my peers, fostering a culture of growth, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
