As the Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA), I oversee the strategic direction, planning, and execution of all IT initiatives for the nation's second-largest transit system. With over 20 years of experience in the government administration industry, I am passionate about delivering innovative, secure, and reliable IT solutions that enhance our region's mobility, safety, and sustainability.My core competencies include enterprise architecture, ITIL, system administration, SharePoint, servers, process improvement, IT management, and information technology. I have led multiple projects and programs that improved the efficiency, performance, and security of WMATA's IT infrastructure, systems, and applications, such as implementing a cloud-based disaster recovery solution, upgrading the network backbone, and deploying a new fare payment system.
