Oversee the operation, merchandising, security and site standards of stores, maximizing profitswithin those stores.* Assist in the development of policies, procedures and mission. Communicate guidelines tosubordinates for their area of responsibility and take appropriate action to ensure policies andprocedures are followed.* Visit stores on a regular basis to ensure standards are met, marketing programs are beingexecuted properly, advancement opportunities are discussed, employees are being treatedfairly, security measures are enforced and store controls are being implemented.* Conduct meetings as needed to ensure priorities are effectively set and action plans areimplemented, to include monthly Profit and Loss reviews

* Oversee the recruitment, screening, hiring and training of Store Managers by field managementpersonnel (i.e., District Managers) nation-wide.* Direct training of store management personnel as scheduling and new business acquisitionallows.* Oversee training of Assistant Managers and Customer Service Representatives to ensure that allrequisite skills and knowledge have been effectively communicated to them by Store Managers.* Assist with personnel assessments and make recommendations for transfers, remedial trainingand promotions to new positions.* Act as conduit between store personnel and field management/support staff with respect toinnovative ideas, systemic weaknesses in procedures, policy suggestions and, when warranted,conflict resolution and mediation.* Conduct area-wide training sessions covering everything from new programs to benefitsexplanations and enrollments.* Develop training materials for new and changed procedures (manuals, PowerPointpresentations, etc).

Direct oversight of operations for as many as 15 stores in an area, including training new StoreManagers.* Emphasis on sales and gross profit growth, asset protection and expense controls.
