Terri has been a critical care, orthopedic, and coronary staff nurse as well as a Hospital Staff Educator.She has founded and continues to manage a Continuing Education company Medical Education Systems, Inc. She is the Nursing Director of SEAK, a provider education on workers' compensation and health and safety issues. In 2011 her historical biographical novel of a famous British nurse heroine "Fatal Decision: Edith Cavell WWI Nurse" was published. It is now in it's second edition with a larger publisher. Her British edition of the book "Fatal Destiny: Edith Cavell WWI Nurse" was released under Henschel Haus Publishing October, 2014. Terri is the only nurse and American to have written a book on Edith Cavell and is a frequently requested speaker on this topic. She is also a Disaster Nurse for the American Red Cross. She represented them for the first time in the memorial ceremonies for Nurse Cavell in Norwich and London, England. She is the first American to have been invited to these ceremonies in 98 years. The Cavell Nurses Trust in the UK is now an active vendor for her books.
