Supervise a diverse team including professional engineers, engineers-in-training and interns, whom all require differing levels of support. Team is responsible for developing, designing and managing new growth and improvement projects. We respond to both internal requests and external development in order to maintain adequate supply to customers and supply new customers.

Design Engineer for the Major Projects department which is responsible for executing large natural gas projects for ATCO Gas and Pipelines Ltd. Responsible for the design, execution and completion of these large projects. Job activities include: designing natural gas piping systems, obtaining required project approvals, communicating with multi-disciplinary teams, monitoring construction progress, analyzing gas system with hydraulic modelling, and completing project management activities.

Responsible for providing engineering support to the Field Operations and Construction departments. Other duties included project management, technical design, cost estimation, material specification, and job procedure preparation for emergency work. As well as completing technical reviews of third party equipment and road crossing requests, consisting of surface loading analysis and code compliance checks to ensure the pipeline integrity was preserved.

Responsible for creating and maintaining verified pressure models for the company. Also, developed long-term plans for the natural gas distribution system, including conceptual design of pipeline feeder systems and identification of supply points. Using verified models, helped to identify and justify system alternatives for internal and externally driven projects.
