As an insurance professional with over 25 years of property casualty claims experience I was responsible for bringing strategic, creative and consultative services to Lockton's clients that positively impacted and mitigated the clients overall claim exposures. My responsibilities included: creating customized claims management programs for Risk Management and Middle Market size accounts; developing and driving cost effective claim resolution strategies; analyzing and interpreting loss trends to eliminate repeat claim exposures; developing and presenting training programs for clients; and performing carrier/TPA audits to ensure adherence to special handling instructions and industry best practices.

As claims manager of the Willis' Washington, DC claims operations, my role included conducting employee performance evaluations, educating and training claims personnel to develop their skill competency in technical areas, as well as servicing and providing technical supervision and review of all high dollar and questionable coverage claims. In addition to personnel responsibilities, I also developed the annual department plan for senior management.
