Freelance writer, designer, photographer and videographer. Working on a variety of different projects online and in person for various different companies.Recent work includes; transcribing from audio to word; creative short story writing; SEO website content writing, a series of photographs for a new greeting card range, bespoke social media promotions and advertising, data base updating and animation board creation.

Responsible for the layout and design of a variety of advertisements both for a range of in print journals and for the online sites as well as the layout of the advertising section of the BACP flagship journal Therapy Today so that it is print ready to deadline. The last issue had over 130 advertisements, was print ready a week before deadline and received not a single complaint. I am covering maternity and my contract ends the beginning of October

(Company specialises in filming 365 days a year on board various boat and coach excursions around Tenerife and creating “personalised” DVDs of the trip for customers who wish to purchase it. This is face to face sales, commission only job for the cameraman. We also did special events, advertorials, training DVDs etc to client spec and ran a large excursion shop (again commission only earnings) out front of office)Starting with the company in its very early stages, I worked closely with the Director to enhance customer satisfaction, promote the business, organise events and promotional activities for both the business and our products and gain new long term clients. In 4 years the company grew from a two person team working out of a spare room to a thriving business with over 15 employees and its own premises. My duties included, but were not confined to: organising promotional events for both the business as a whole and for various products that we had, creating new business, managing new projects from conception to delivery, reception management, diary management, marketing of products and events, graphic design on DVD covers and promotional flyers, researching new business products, liaising with clients to ensure we delivered the right product, all aspects of HR, ensuring that camera and editing crew stuck to the clients spec and delivered the product as wanted within deadline and within budget, staff recruitment, staff training, dealing with and quickly resolving any customer complaints, creating film and shooting scripts, filming, editing and distributing DVDs.

As a supplement to other positions that I had while living in Tenerife I also worked part time at a variety of other positions on and off throughout my time there. I was a photographer on the whale and dolphin excursion boats for "The Lab"; a singer and karaoke compare at a number of different venues but predominantly for "O'Malleys" on Veronicas and "Neighbours Bar" on Puerto Colon; a DJ for a small nightclub that catered to the 18 - 30's crowd in peak summer and an SEO writer for a number of property and development companies.

Writer, designer, editor and photographer for a popular A5 glossy magazine aimed at both locals and tourists, I was solely responsible for the creation, design and layout of a variety of articles both factual and entertaining. I still contribute to it occasionally today although it is now solely an online magazine and not in print

Working the 7 months of the summer season entertaining guests at a multilingual hotel with over 2000 guests. Organising daytime events for the adults such as archery, football, cultural walks and performing evening entertainment such as shows, dances and bingo. Duties included creating stage decoration for our various shows including Grease, Sister Act, West Side Story and the crazy mix; organising time tables and designing posters, setting schedules and customer service.

Energy Radio, Tenerife Hired to help set up the station and perform all the administration work required, I was soon also presenting the drive time 3 hour week day show, introducing new music and mixing it up with some of the possibly forgotten oldies. This was only a temporary position however, as I had already agreed to return to Mallorca for the 2004 summer season.

Part of the Internet Monthly group of publications, as Editors Assistant I worked closely with contributors and researchers, editing articles, researching stories, doing the layout and contacting record labels for freebies and interviews.
