When I first joined GS I was mainly working on bringing a defence/intelligence product up to best practices in terms of workload security when deploying to Kubernetes clusters along with also determining what application changes were necessary for it to be deployed on-premise as well as in AWS/Azure.Worked to move the AWS Org into using AWS LZA along with defining various guardrails to aid in maintaining adherence to AWS best practices.Post pivot, mainly moved into a more architectural role planning the overall architecture of the company's SaaS application along with the typical DevOps duties like maintaining CI infrastructure along with mentoring some of the developers in the ways of DevOps.

Was brough in to Sliide to aid in upgrading their EKS clusters and advise on DevOps best practices and an introduction on GitOps

Responsible for ensuring the infrastructure and applications remained compliant to the PCI DSS controls that were in effect.Maintained multiple non-AKS Kubernetes clusters on Azure via a mixture of Terraform and Chef even managing to upgrade from Ubuntu 16.04 -> 20.04 a good year ahead of AKS.Managed both the monitoring and logging infrastructure covering tasks from ElasticSearch cluster/index management to creating Grafana dashboards and various Prometheus alerting rules.
