● Acts as the main HR point of contact for all associates of a diversified real estate portfolio, such as new homes, apartments, office space, retail, resort/hotels, and corporate groups● Provides assistance to associates from before their first day to after their last, including, but not limited to, background checks, onboarding, leave of absences, transfers, severances, and terminations● Engages with employees through Leave of Absence management, handling leaves for Pregnancy, Baby Bonding, Medical, Family Care, Worker's Compensation, ADA Accommodations, and more● Assists with pre-employment screenings, such as ordering criminal history reports, drug screens, motor vehicle reports, and physical abilities tests, while sometimes escalating to the Pre-Adverse/Final Adverse process● Utilizes multiple systems to track employee information, including Talent Source, ADP, SAP, Kronos, and Google Drive● Operates the Educational Reimbursement program, assisting with course approvals and reimbursement payments● Assists with the design and updating of company-wide organizational charts using LucidCharts● Coordinates with the HR Business Partners to create DiSC Reports for individuals and teams to better understand employees behavioral patterns and assist training facilitators in knowing their audience on a deeper level● Team member on the HR Engagement Team for Fiscal Year 21 Q3 & Q4● Assisted with a Cell Phone Reimbursement project to properly compensate employees due to working from home during the COVID-19 pandemic
