o Assess, diagnose and manage a wide range of emergent and non-emergent clinical conditions of patients presenting to the emergency department. o Skills performed in the ED include: suturing, I&D, emergent intubation, external jugular line placement, femoral line placement, femoral arterial and venous blood draws, splint placement, lumbar puncture, foreign body removals, and evaluation of diagnostic radiographs.
