Responsible for coordinating procurement activities as well as providing administrative support to the Procurement Manager. Provides advanced and diversified administrative and purchasing support services to the Golden Peanut Buying Point. Perform various specialized duties necessary to maintain the specific needs of the purchasing operation. Prioritizes daily work, oversee work flow and use independent judgement in expediting requisitions and prioritizing projects. Provides support to Buying Point staff to effectively resolve problems arising from peanut farmers related issues. Maintains purchasing document’s, files, forms, etc. Records data, performs reconciliations and various other report preparation as well as performing office oversight responsibilities. Review description of goods and services on purchase order requisitions. Responsible for the daily encumbrances of purchase orders and ensures availability of all department funds and completeness of requisitions.
