Maintain stockroom, controlling parts inventory for manufacturing facility >$10M Primary focus on MRO and Spare procurementMaintain work orders/PO for (internal) Maintenance and Machine Shop personnel materials to replenish stockroom inventoryIdentify potential resources to optimize required/requested materials, equipment, suppliers and service responsiveness (lead-time)Confirm material/parts & chemical approval process testing utilizing Blueprints and SDS: PPAP/ ISIR Resolve shipping costs as it relates to receiving infractions; shortages, overages/returns and quality issuesNegotiate shipping terms and costs when applicable via air, ship, trailer & railcarsRelease railcars and ensure ETAUpdate and manage internal system as needed to manage planning process: Min/Max, EOGAnalyze nonstock room items/materials to determine usage in forecasting reorder quantitiesManage purchase order process: Issue, update, distribute and closeMaintain MSO's, Certificate Liability Insurance, amend purchase orders and confidentiality agreements Systematic set-up of new sourcing opportunities (vendors/suppliers)Maintain weekly cycle counts and daily reporting errors ensuring effective inventory levelsEstablish a professional work relationship with suppliers and all organizational department associates

Check requisitions for accuracy, completeness and compliance, including authorized approvalCreate PO via customer/vendor internet portals, telephone, and ERP (SAP) systemCreate Custom shipping documents through internet portals and local WMS softwareTrack and expedite orders placed and inform internal customersCoordinates schedule for hourly, supervisors and commercial driver associates to support mfg. facilities, distribution and transportation across 3 shifts, totaling 21 associatesEnsure efficiencies are maintained and recorded to sustain daily KPI’s per shiftAnalyze MPS to ensure product forecasts will be attainableEnsure the accuracy of all inventory adjustmentsManage all cycle count requirementsResponsible for all product disposal ensuring accurate systematic adjustments utilizing effective transit and warehousing methods.Responsible for staff recruiting and training which includes performance evaluations and policy enforcement. Manage the Transportation Department including drivers, trailer (Equipment) pool to ensure the timing of needed resources for 2 local mfg. facilities and 3 warehouses.Responsible for maintaining equipment and issuing maintenance work orders and or negotiating and approving outside vendor repairs.Schedule inbound and outbound shipment deliveries to nationwide customers and 6 (including Canada) company Distribution Centers
