BreastScreen Victoria provides the statewide screening program for breast cancer. Screening more than 250,000 women each year the service is committed to drawing on consumer experience to improve early detection of breast cancer.

PANDA is a national organisation that is passionate about raising community awareness of depression and anxiety during pregnancy and after birth (perinatal) as well as providing timely services to prevent the devastating impact of these illnesses on the whole family.

Optometry Victoria represents and supports more than 1100 optometrists across the State. In addition to providing member information, resources and support Optometry Victoria works together with other not for profit organisations to promote better eye health and the crucial role of optometry in providing primary eye care services.

As Deputy CEO I played a key role in all management and operational decisions. In my policy role I directed national policy development and led our advocacy activities. I was responsible for our fabulous Seat at the Table Program which engaged Consumer Representatives across Australia in advocating for more responsive breast cancer services. This was a great opportunity to be involved in an amazing organisation with so many inspiring and committed people.

In this role I was responsible for the wide range of MCHS Community Health funded programs including 60 staff in our allied and social health teams. I also had responsibility for managing two Community Health Centre sites and a range of other social health programs in the City of Moreland.
