As the Community Engager, I oversee three major areas of organizational life: Communication, Adult Programing, and Membership. I work with professional staff, clergy, and lay leadership.Communication: Promote BZBI events through maintaining and further developing our website (Wordpress), grow and direct our social media presence and strategy, use Mailchimp for our weekly newsletter, launch our blog, and create flyers and advertisementsAdult Programming: Manage all program logistics, maintain the organization's master calendar, and participate and collaborate with partner organizations in the Philadelphia area to create meaningful and engaging programing.Membership: Meet with new and prospective members to further engage them with the BZBI community, track and coordinate follow up with prospective and new members, maintain the membership databases (Rakafet and Hinenyu), and envision and implement relational membership strategies.

I work with the Principal of the Neziner Hebrew School. Among administrative duties such as organizing the data base of students in the school, creating lists and calendars, implementing systems to stay organized, and keeping track of the expenses for the school, I also communicate with the parents and the teaching staff. Additionally, I also assist with new programs and curriculum, such as the Enrichment program, Family Education, and re visioning Junior Congregation.

I work with the 8th-12th grade teen population helping them engage with their Judaism through events and relationships with other teens at BZBI and in the region. In Fall 2015, I wrote and I am teaching a new Saturday morning program, called Teaching Torah to Teens, providing meaningful opportunities to BZBI's teen population on Saturday morning.

This is the first year of Sinai High. As the Associate Director, I work the Education Director, three faculty members, and supervise roughly 40 students. I oversee the Hevre and Havurah period, allowing students to experience text study, current events, guest speakers, and special programming. I also coordinate the 7th grade program, co-teaching them the Holocaust and creating experiential programs for them throughout the year.

As part of the Davidson Online course Teaching Jewish History, the class participates in the virtual world JCAT. JCAT is an online historical simulation that works with University of Michigan, Hebrew College, and day schools around the country. As the online historical game has expanded to incorporate more day schools, each university has added a student host who monitors student participation, areas of concern within the game, areas of interest, help create host announcements, and work with project directors to create next steps within the game.

After working with the rabbi of the Narberth Havurah for a year, we decided to create a new Jewish community for the Main Line area. Derech HaLev focuses on a Jewish community with a focus on learning and inspiring people to truly live their Judaism as a natural thread woven throughout their lives. As the co-director of education I work with the rabbi as the lead teacher, create four curriculums for about 40 students, help facilitate a mother daughter group, and communicate with parents. I also co-created the website, http://pathwithheart.org/ and started the Tikkun Olam Shabbat program. Finally, I am the co-B'nai Mitzvah tutor for the community.

I teach the Knesset class, polishing student's leadership skills and helping them plan branch wide programming. Additionally, I also teach a weekly Current Events elective course. Finally, I perform administrative tasks for the branch.I formed a Center City Rosh Hodesh group that eventually got split into two groups. Currently, I lead the younger 6th grade group.

This pluralistic youth group is supported by a grant from the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, Temple Beth Zion Beth Israel, Congregation Kesher Israel, Congregation Mikveh Israel, Congregation Rodeph Shalom, & Society Hill Synagogue. I work with the five communities to engage 8th-11th graders, so they can connect to other teens who are their neighbors and school mates. Besides having social events, we also do Tikkun Olam in Philadelphia.

I work with the rabbi of the Narberth Havurah to create a strong Jewish education for 50 2nd-6th graders. Along with teaching, I am writing three curriculums - two Hebrew curriculums and the Jewish Studies curriculum for the entire school.

As of Fall 2012, my job was three-fold at Old York Road Temple - Beth Am. I work as an Administrative Assistant in the Religious School Office. There were 250 students in the school, and I assisted in sending school memos, creating lists, and gathering supplies. I also taught the 4th grade the beginning of the prayers for their B'nai Mitzvah and in Jewish Studies analyzed the Jewish holidays. Finally I was the youth advisor for Chaverim (the youth group for 2nd and 3rd grade) and for Club 15 (the youth group for 4th, 5th, and 6th grade). I organized and ran one program every 3 weeks.As of Fall 2013, I am still an administrative assistant and teacher. I will be working in the Amanda Sham Resource Center with 4th-6th graders with one-on-one Hebrew reading. Additionally, I am creating an 8th grade curriculum focused on Middot, Jewish values, and service learning.

I work with a co-teacher and teach 25 sixth graders. We focus on community, through text study and projects based on the holidays and students' interest.

I wrote and coordinated five different curriculums, while working with 48 clergy members throughout the summer.

I work with the Jewish led Student groups, such as Hillel, Kosher Cooking Club, Dickinson Israel Group, and Achim Jewish Men's Group, to ensure collaboration and successful programming. Additionally, I supervise the National Hillel PNEI interns, providing them guidance and assistance with programming.

Tutor students on their writing by editing papers and discussing how to improve their writing process.
