I compile the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) for FCPS including balancing between funds assist with compiling the footnotes, complete disclosure checklists, etc. Additionally, I am the audit liaison to the external auditors for the financial statement audit and Single Audit. I also compile the Schedule of Expenditures for Federal Awards SEFA. I am also in the process of implementing a new financial reporting tool to streamline the CAFR compilation. I work closely with the Chief Accounting Officer, Comptroller as well as individuals across many departments and Schools throughout the system, and the County. -
