As a Television Sales Assistant my primary job is to work closely with my Sales Representatives to book and maintain their TV business. This role is many parts administrative and some parts creative but with everything I do I get to use my Marketing and Web Development education.My role is not limited to booking and maintaining orders, I also assist in planning various Sales Events throughout the year including the CTV Calgary UpFront that takes place each Spring. As well, I produce all of the contests for CTV Calgary.Tasks/Duties:- Order Entry: The base of this position is Order Entry and being able to correctly book airtime to match the schedule that was purchased by the client. All campaigns then need to be maintain throughout for pre-emptions, makegoods and program changes as the TV schedule changes with the seasons.- Creative: Working within Adobe Photoshop to create graphics for web and on-air for contests. As well, working on presentations and proposals for Sales Reps to take out on calls.- Event Planning: Each year I have worked with our Promotions department to plan and execute the CTV Calgary UpFront presentation that takes place in June. Planning includes securing a venue, A/V, catering, working with internal departments to gather all necessary assets, maintaining the invite and RSVP list, and so much more until the day of execution. - Organization: Booking and maintaining the business for 10 Sales Reps and producing contesting means organization is key! Whether it be a large client with multiple bookings or a smaller client with one booking, each has a start and end date that can affect makegoods and program changes. - Strategic: As Program Changes occur I need to then adjust the bookings to match as closely as possible with what the client had originally purchased selecting new programs that fit the demo and the brand. - Promotions: Externally with Contesting on-air and Internally with #WorkPerks, Staff BBQs and small incentives for staff

As the Administrative Assistant at Supreme Windows my role saw me take on tasks in many different departments as needed. Throughout my time at Supreme Windows I worked Reception, Order Entry, Sales, Service Department and many small tasks in Accounting and Purchasing.Service Department Mat Leave Cover:For 6-months I covered the Service Department while the Service Coordinator was on Mat Leave. This role included working with Home Builders, Contractors and Home Owners to determine what the Service issue was and how to correct it. Home Builders and Contractors made up a bulk of the service calls and I would have to manage Site Supervisor expectations if it was a particularly busy time.Primary Roles:- Order Entry: book new Window and Door orders ensuring the order that was entered into the system matched the quote that was signed off by the client. With many small details and specs attention to detail was a must.- Reception Coverage: I would cover reception whenever required answering all calls into the building and greeting all customers that visited the showroom. Reception also included invoicing, filing, accounts receivable and many smaller tasks when required.Secondary Roles:- Sales: When the showroom would get busy I would jump onto the floor to help answer any questions on the Product and also show customers what their Sales Rep had quoted them. - Accounting and Purchasing: When necessary I would post invoices for Accounts Payable and check/approve purchase orders for Purchasing.
