About Miriam Suzanne

I'm a hybrid media artist based in Denver, CO. I mostly make web things with OddBird, music with Teacup Gorilla, and live performance with Grapefruit lab. These days, I'm also making pottery, socks, and mechanical clocks. It’s fun to make things.Web stuff: Miriam is an Invited Expert on the W3C CSS Working group, a member of the Sass core team, and a teacher – providing workshops and training to companies and conferences around the world. She had a lead role in developing several new CSS features like cascade layers, container queries, and scope.Art stuff: Miriam is the author of Riding SideSaddle* (SpringGun Press, 2015), and won the True West Award for 10 Myths on the Proper Application of Beauty Products (Buntport Theater, 2016). Recent productions include Strange Bird, Queer Bird (Grapefruit Lab, 2023), Letters of Suresh (Curious Theater, 2023), and Whiskey From Strangers (Grapefruit Lab, 2024).
