About Terri Cramer, Msod
My mission is to help talented people realize the path that will enable them to effect positive change in their lives and in the places where they work. Sometimes this happens with people who need a deeper understanding of how they can contribute their interests and unique talents—people who want to find alignment with a career field that sings to them, one that will allow them to contribute their best selves. And sometimes it’s when people need a sounding board to reflect back the merits of their plans and ideas. Frequently, it’s when people just need to be connected with others who can share the wisdom they have gained from having gone before. I like starting things up. Nearly all of the roles I had in my past life in corporate were greenfield initiatives: supporting the development of new oncolytics in the lab and in trials in my early days, and—after moving into the human capital space--engaging employees via a new magazine publication and launching learning strategies that shored up R&D competencies and regulatory integrity. To make big change happen, I served on small teams that supported enterprise-wide quality and business process improvement projects. After 20+ years of corporate life and graduate education focused on organizational excellence, I was hired as the fourth staff member to aid an innovative new Master’s program focused on learning and change strategies with opening its doors at Northwestern. I moved from Chicago back to Indiana and joined Indiana University Kelley School in August 2018, where I coached MBA students and alums to help them achieve their career aspirations and goals. I retired in September 2024, and now I'm figured out my next big thing! When you are continuously learning and you get to help others learn you have the ingredients for a fulfilling career. I've been lucky to spend my time doing both.
