I am currently a full time employed Sales Executive within Cab Direct, a sister company of Allied Vehicles Ltd. I work Monday to Friday 9-5 and rotational Saturdays. My job is to sell Taxis to the Private Hire and Hackney Trade throughout the UK. This can be a very challenging job at times but also very rewarding. I generate most of my own sales myself by calling Taxi Drivers and Taxi Business owners who are on our Database, who may or may not have purchased vehicles from Cab Direct in the past. On top of that I also answer inbound call, emails and social media enquiries to the busy call centre - I would then deal with that individual customer until such times they purchased a vehicle from ourselves. I always stay in touch with my customers after the sale as I like to keep a good relationship with all of my clientele. I use a number of different systems - Microsoft word/excel/outlook, 8x8, sales force and Kerridge. I really enjoy the sales environment!

As a Used Vehicle Administrator my duties were: Ordering vehicles from MFL (Motability Fleet) when Motability orders received and loading applications onto Motability System. Purchasing in Used Vehicles from other dealers or new/existing customers. Accurately reserving vehicles and estimating their delivery dates on a weekly basis. Checking all finance documentation for customers who wish to finance their used vehicles. Organising production and workshop orders for vehicles once authorised and liaising with dealer and service / parts dept or outside agencies. Setting up used warranties and taxing vehicles. Invoice finance companies and customers for payment and chase the full payment. Take payments and update systems whilst informing accounts. Payment of external dealer invoices. Setting up and sending out GAP and warranty books customers. To ensure that Syntelate and Kerridge is updated for all stages of the deal and to keep the deal progress report up to date. Paying settlements on customer Part Exchange Vehicles. Updating and maintaining demo stock list in file and on Kerridge. Preparing and reporting weekly reports to the Admin Manager which include, Profit Report / Vehicles Advertised / Missing documentation / Vehicles Invoiced / Vehicles Due In. Updating all company demonstrator mileages on a fortnightly basis, chasing departments for missing information. Filing of deal packs once deal is closed. And the correct management of all the Vehicle Registration Certificates for all demo and stock vehicles and correct management of all vehicle documentation

I started at Allied as part of T.I.G.E.R.S Training Initiative, I was with Allied for 3 months on my work placement before I was offered full time employment. My duties at Allied include; collecting timesheets daily from production; input into Microsoft Dynamics and sort out any anomalies where necessary, run daily efficiency reports, keeping HR records up-to-date with all holidays, attendance and time keeping, register vehicle key packs and maintain precise location of each key, stationery/ workwear/facilities requisitions, make up job cards on Kerridge for PDI's (Pre Delivery Inspection), file away all paperwork for completed vehicles, ensure all overtime is put through to Payroll in order for employees to get paid and also I update staff calendars on a daily basis through Microsoft Dynamics to ensure that the information I obtain on my efficiency report is correct. Furthermore, keeping the Training Matrix up-to-date for all employees and the Process Awareness Register is kept up-to-date with all the necessary completed paperwork
