In 2003, Terrie launched Wellness Coalition America, a corporate health advocacy company, and sold it to Healthgram Medical, a third-party administrator of group health insurance in 2005. She remained on board for 10 years as President, managing the build-out and oversight of Healthgram’s health and well-being division. WCA provides on-site health clinics, behavioral health coaching, and wellness services to employers throughout the US. As President, Terrie was responsible for overall strategic direction of the company and played an active role in research and development, brand strategy and marketing, recruitment and talent development, and business retention and growth. WCA provides medical management and wellness consulting services to hundreds of companies ranging from 100 to 15,000 employees.

Terrie launched Carolina Wellness Coalition, a 501-C3 health advocacy organization that provided the Charlotte community and regional corporations with wellness consulting, event planning and execution, and program development and facilitation. As the founder, she was responsible for developing and managing the majority of CWC’s intellectual property. Included in CWC's services was an electronic e-zine that was produced monthly and distributed to over 25,000 households, educational website, and a number of health and well-being programs. Carolina Wellness Coalitions flagship program was Operation Jump Start S.L.A.M. (spirit, looks, action, mind), a grant funded program benefiting local under-served youth struggling with obesity. CWC also partnered with News 14 for 5 years and Terrie hosted an educational health segment, Train For Life which reached 2.8 million viewers weekly.
