Terri Ethridge has over two decades of experience as a government and industry negotiator, policy advocate, and global public affairs expert. She is skilled at leading interdisciplinary teams in fast-paced, dynamic environments and resolving complex international policy challenges in the life science, technology, and auto sectors. Terri served from 2015 until 2017 as Deputy Assistant U.S. Trade Representative for Korea in the Executive Office of the President. She was responsible for implementing the U.S.-Korea Free Trade Agreement and developing U.S.-Korea trade policy on competition enforcement, technology and innovation policy, autos trade, and customs practices. Terri is a shrewd trade negotiator who has worked closely with businesses and governments across Asia to help solve problems in the operating environment for business. Her work is credited with saving U.S. companies over $1 billion in revenue. In addition to USTR, Terri has worked on Capitol Hill, for a leading national trade association representing America’s health technology sector, and for a cutting-edge medical technology start-up. She has presented on corporate diplomacy at Harvard Business School and written an HBS case study exploring effective business-government negotiating strategy.Terri holds a Masters in Public Affairs from Princeton University, with an emphasis in International Relations, and a BA in Economics from the University of Missouri.
