► Outsourcing of IT functions: To cut IT costs globally, Federal-Mogul considered outsourcing six major areas of IT. Led global network team in two-year analysis, determining it was not effective to outsource. Worked with corporate team in outsourcing global help desk functions, delivering $1.5M in one-time savings and $1M in annual savings.► Consolidated Data Center: As a core team member, led the network portion of the consolidation of a major data center operation effort. Developed project and test plans, actively participated in all "dry run" tests and assisted the lead project manager in the overall project management. Ultimately, the consolidation project saved the company approximately $750K annually.
