I have worked in the disability sector going into 7 years now. I have a passion for advocating and ensuring that participants are getting the support they require and need between all services that may be involved. I am a voice for those that don't have one and I feel very strongly about that.I have managed behaviourly complex support and this has helped me want to achieve a whole new skill set in practice and how we can work along side participants and staff to acheive a positive outcome- instead of sitting back and managing from above. I have a keen interest in positive behaviour support and the impacts this can have for participants. I have expansive experience across the sector hands on and off the ground and I believe being on both sides makes me a brilliant asset.I have an interest in entering the clinical side of support and focusing on the health and well-being of participants whether it be the aged or those living with a disability.
