As Breathe's Product Development Manager, I was in the unique position to view how the respiratory industry impacted our DME (Durable Medical Equipment) clients. My main role was to serve as a problem solver to gaps in operational flow and expenses with respect to overnight oximetry. These discovered inefficiencies became my opportunity to help produce new products and services that might better help our clients perform at their optimum potential. I enjoyed introducing and utilizing new technology when applicable and where appropriate to achieve the best possible user experience. Upon releasing new products I enjoyed traveling and presenting the new solutions to our existing and potential clients.

Assistant to David Morris, food photographer. I gained significant insight into the advertising industry with this position. Photo shoots often included an art director and staff as well as a food stylist. I was able to watch an agency's vision come to life from explanation and sketches, to live arrangement, and then to film and digital draft. David was an excellent mentor, teaching me everything from expected demeanor all the way to the technical steps required to make a polished product for top area ad agencies. It was a really great feeling to be a part of something I could actually see on a menu, billboard, magazine, online and on in-store packaging.

Short term assignment to organize and assign keywords to Sprint's internal database of stock images. Additional assignments included retouching images and photo shoot assistance.

I worked my way up from a receptionist to a staff photographer while working at DeCloud. We shot with 70mm split film on location and in-studio. Routinely, I prepared for on location shoots: loaded equipment, traveled, setup controlled lighting, cameras, backgrounds, and card stations. Often we changed film in darkroom bags.This was great experience that helped me gain independence and confidence in managing jobs on my own. The pressure was high at times (imagine fifty high schoolers lined up, staring at you while you secure a roll of two hundred undeveloped negatives with your hands in a darkroom bag!)

I launched my first company at the age of 16. I photographed child sports teams and individual portraits on location. Tasks included various location setups, customer service, client interaction, sales, accounting, and B2B relations with various labs and suppliers.
