Driving change at an academic medical health care system client by leading a team of analytic engineers focused on improving the quality, service and cost of the care delivered to patients using data-driven insights and persistent analytics solutions. Responsibilities included:- building trust with physicians and quality improvement staff and teaching how to do that to my team- identifying and planning strategic, long-term improvement opportunities with the client- developing and teaching team members to plan their analytics projects to ensure successful execution- ensuring and teaching the team to ensure analytics projects achieve the intention of improving patient outcomes- finding ways to identify and remove roadblocks early in the project process - tracking and executing strategies to increase usage of the enterprise data warehouse- maintaining and improving the strategic partner relationship between Health Catalyst and the health care systemRelocated to Singapore (Jan 2020 - Jun 2021) to support delivery and help grow the APAC emerging business unit:- led and delivered a detailed analytics capability assessment and roadmap for a multi-national, Singapore-based private healthcare system to achieve and go beyond level 4 on the analytics maturity model, based on 50+ interviews, SME consultations, and document review- delivered a DOS platform and improvement pilot project for a top 10 in the world public healthcare system. Responsibilities included installing DOS tools, mapping client data into DOS, consulting with physicians and quality teams to perform care pathway analysis, building metric logic in SAMs, planning and delivering executive presentations, and writing a report summarizing findings and recommendations
