I am a veteran of the U.S. Army Medical Corps, a dual board-certified physician, and Chief Medical Affairs Officer at Merz Aesthetics, a global leader in medical aesthetics. With over two decades of clinical practice and industry experience, I have a unique skill set that combines clinical acumen, medical affairs expertise, and organizational leadership skills honed by the military. At Merz Aesthetics, I lead a global team of medical professionals who support the development, launch, and lifecycle management of innovative products that enhance the appearance and well-being of patients worldwide. We execute robust clinical studies, generate high-quality scientific publications, and engage with providers and regulatory agencies to bring novel approaches to patient care. Our team of scientific experts leverage clinical insights to ensure our portfolio provides differentiated value and enables clinicians to achieve excellent patient outcomes. My mission is to bridge the gap between bench and bedside, aligning medical strategies with the unmet needs of patients and healthcare providers. I am passionate about equity, inclusion, and reducing health disparities, and I actively champion initiatives that empower women and other underrepresented groups. I am a lifelong learner and proud alumna of Bennett College, Morehouse School of Medicine, Emory University School of Medicine and The Uniformed Services University. I am currently pursuing a Master of Public Health degree at The George Washington University with a focus on health analytics and informatics.
