-Lead and supports children’s hospitals and health systems’ collaborative efforts to improve health and health care delivery through pharmacy, group purchasing and clinical quality initiatives. -Provide leadership and expertise that improves the quality of care for patients and supports hospital sustainability. -Lead a comprehensive pharmacy strategy, providing leadership to group purchasing partners and high impact partnering on quality initiatives.-Influence meaningful insight into solutions.

■ Serve as CHA’s pharmacy SME and leader■ Engage hospital leadership (CEO, CXO, and other executives) in multidisciplinary work efforts including novel efforts related to High Cost Therapy (HCT) work. i.e., payer strategies and negotiations, pre and post launch manufacturer relationship/negotiations, forced white bagging education, and HCT related national and regional advocacy efforts.■ Bring 32 distinct voices together as one to advocate with suppliers, payers, and partners. ■ Proposed and lead pediatric drug shortage project, the first in pediatric pharmacy ($200K project) which identified pediatric essential drugs and shortage impact, leading to successful mitigation strategies.■ As CHA pharmacy SME; provide support, guidance and insight for insurance services (PBM), communications (newsletters, magazine, web content), policy/advocacy team, and Patient Safety Organization (PSO).■ Create, set agenda and lead major seminars and conferences. (both virtual and in person with attendances of over 200)■ Identify, develop and nurture strategic alliances to enhance member support and guarantee access. i.e. with manufacturers, 503B compounding pharmacies, and biologic suppliers.■ Establish standards and measures, creating new benchmarks for productivity, operational efficiency, and medication safety for members as well as internal operations. ■ Lead strategic pharmacy program evaluation and strategic plan development, including selecting, managing, and collaborating with outside pharmacy consultants and executive oversight group.■ Improve customer relations to gain support, build and maintain trust. i.e., facilitate “member rounds” virtually and in person to encourage every member to participate, inform, and/or re-connect. ■ Build sustainable member work groups, leadership teams and affinity groups.
