Developing recruitment strategies by position and assuring adequate applicant pools. Writing recruitment/help wanted advertisements and placing online and professional publications as indicated, based on applicant pools and recruitment strategies. Monitoring quality/quantity of applicant pools and keeping Human Resources Director and other management staff updated on all open positions. Screening applicants for open positions and referring qualified applicants to hiring Supervisors, when appropriate, or offer positions to candidatesCommunicating with all applicants in compliance with departmental procedures.Performing reference checks on applicants in accordance with policy.Developing contacts with local colleges and universities for recruiting purposes.
