  Research ExperienceResearch Topic: A Study of Supply Chain Network Design for Grocery Companies in the UK• Utilized Linear Programming methods to help optimize the supply chain network structure, addressing the increase in transportation costs for UK grocery supply chain following the Russia-Ukraine conflict• Conducted data analysis and scenario simulations using Excel Solver, analyzing five scenarios: pre-war supply chain condition, identifying a 27% increase in transportation costs post-war, and introducing strategies including changing distribution centers, implementing multimodal transportation, and introducing electric trucks• Discovered that introducing electric trucks was the most effective cost-reduction strategy, reducing transportation costs by 20.87%, highlighting the dual benefits of cost savings and sustainability
