My name is Terry Aberhart. I have a lifelong passion for the land and the agriculture industry that began at a young age, working on the family farm near Langenburg, Saskatchewan. With over two decades of ag experience, I have worked on the family farm, managed a custom spraying operation, founded Sure Growth Solutions Inc., and co-founded Aberhart Ag Solutions. Although it may seem like a lot, I am continuously looking for new opportunities that will contribute to the agriculture industry and our mission to feed our growing population. In my efforts to unlock the unique abilities of others, I have come to believe that these opportunities are discovered through community. The people we do business with and those we invite into our homes all carry with them different perspectives, and in the space where we work together within our areas of expertise, we find innovation.As an entrepreneur, I have been fortunate to travel to over 10 countries, from the US to Ukraine, Russia, and Germany, speaking at several events and conferences while learning about local farming practices across the globe. Although these opportunities have provided me with enriching experiences, they have equipped me with knowledge that I enjoy sharing with others close to home through articles in agriculture publications, speaking engagements, and discussions with my brother, Dan Aberhart, on Growing the Future Podcast.Over and above my professional pursuits, I am an advocate for personal growth and participate in EOS: the Entrepreneurial Operating System, and the Strategic Coach business program for entrepreneurs. These programs have helped me to grow as a leader and have given me tools to reflect on my strengths and weaknesses and unlock my own unique abilities.Above all, family is my number one! My wife Lichelle and I, along with our six children, operate Aberhart Farms, a thriving 17,000-acre grain farm that embodies our values of innovation, family, passion, culture, and sustainability. Here, we work together to build a future for our family and our farm team, while uplifting our community.
