Sales support engineer, which includes negotiation and pricing of maintenance contracts throughout the North West and surveying and quoting for retrofit of obsolete control systems. The key point of contact for clients and provide advice during both pre and after sales and responsible for searching for new clients who might benefit from company products or services and developing long-term relationships with existing clients through managing and interpretation of their requirements. Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education, and after-sales support services and also meeting regular with customers to ensure they are satisfied with the service we provide. My Technical roll includes the setup and testing of new product integration via BacNet, Modbus, Mbus etc providing training and producing support for other members of the team and when required the setup of Cylon & Trend supervisors. I am also involved in writing controller software and identifying and rectifying advanced and problematic technical issues on site.

Main duty were to carry projects up to a value of £300,000 through from initial order to hand over and final account stage, Including system design, material purchasing, contractor management, Liaison with panel manufactures through to consultants, Pre commissioning and commissioning, production of BMS Supervisor graphics, system manuals and invoicing.

Commissioning of new projects up to the Value of £800,000 including Strategy, Panel Design and Graphics in Cylon and Trend Controls. I have consistently ensured that the work I complete is compliant with the company procedures and ISO standards. I have also been involved in on site training of new Engineers and assessment for their ongoing training requirements. I also regularly attended problem sites to identify and rectify ongoing problems.

Energy Engineer for HVAC equipment using BAS2000, BAS2800+, Satchnet and Unifact with added responsibility for the running of maintenance on sites. I have also been providing the NEXUS support Bureau and all UK engineers with Trend support for all the Trend sites across the UK.

Commissioning / Service Engineer for HVAC equipment with added responsibility for the running of maintenance on sites. Main duties include commissioning of new projects and designing the front end supervisor graphics in Trend 945, S2, Cylon and Doorway programs using Visio, Micrografix Draw and AutoCAD and more recently the engineering of Trend Datapoint software which has lead to travelling all over the UK. I undertake Fault finding, maintenance and on site programming and modifications on Trend, Satchwell, Cylon, Steafe, and Aquatrol controls. Repair of on site computers when problems arise with software and hardware, this has lead to an involvement with the Y2K preparations and testing for the company and its customers.
