Managed an organization of 25 Quality and Reliability Engineers responsible for driving reliability into forward model products, improving the quality of current model products, and reporting on quality issues. Commodities included instrument panels, consoles, door trim, head and tail lamps, fascias, fuel tanks, fuel rails, drive shafts, catalytic converters, stabilizer bars, steering gears and pumps, ignitions coils, starters, power take-off units, carbon canisters, and HVAC. • Reduced Quality Rejects by 30% and improved customer supplier metric score 23% through the development and implementation of an improved Quality Operating System. • Developed Single Agenda for Quality Process which reduced warranty by 35%. • Reduced launch quality rejects by 55% and eliminated on-site modifications for the 2007 launches due to the development and implementation of a Safe Launch Process.
