Hello! I am Terry, a second-year student at Singapore Polytechnic pursuing a diploma in Applied AI and Analytics with a perfect cGPA of 4.00. My passion for understanding how things work has always driven me, and lately, I've become particularly fascinated by the potential of Artifical Intelligence and Data Analytics to revolutionize various fields. This fascination has led me to explore courses outside of school and delve deeper into the world of data analysis, machine learning, complex neural networks, and their applications. My existing skillset in Python, Javascript, CSS, Bootstrap, MySQL, Keras, Scikit-learn provides a strong foundation for understanding these computing concepts. I envision a future where I can leverage AI and Analytics to develop intelligent systems that can help contribute to societal progress. Here's what feuls my passion:Academic Achievements: My dedication to acquiring relevant knowledge is reflected in my academic performance, with a cGPA of 4.00. I actively participated in courses related to my studies online, as I believe that it will help better improve and broaden my knowledge. I consistently perform well in my given role and demonstrate willingness to face challenges to achieve better results.Leadership and Project Management: In my PFP year, I actively participated in the PFP Student Chapter, serving as the Secretary. My role involved ensuring the smooth function of the student chapter and effective communication among our team. I also played a key role in planning and leading events such as PFP completion ceremony and PFP freshman orientation camp. These experiences honed my leadership, communication, and teamwork skills, which has serve me well in my current and future endeavors.Continuous Learning: My commitment to growth extends beyond SP. For example, I have participated and won the Dell InnovateDash 2024 which is a hackathon that allows me to build meaningful technology solutions based on a problem statement from DELL's partner (MINDS). It was a learning opportunity for me to level up my technical skills, build on my interpersonal skills through workshops by experts from Dell Technologies and MINDS as well as serve as a networking hub where I can connect with like-minded indivduals.My goal is to combine my technical skills, life skills and my leadership experience to become a well-rounded professional in the field of Applied AI and Analytics Computing. I'm confident that my ability to learn, lead and collaborate with others will allow me to contribute meaningfully to this exciting and ever-evolving domain.
