• Works in partnership with the local Training Centre Coordinator to facilitate the state’s Training Centre• Works as a part of the Training Operations team to establish a strong and highly professional series of training centres in Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane providing planning, training and reporting services for all states through these centres• Works nationally with entire L&D team to deliver a nationally consistent service• Provides an on the ground service to supervisors and employees and is responsible for bringing that information to national team• Works with Training Centre Coordinator to establish a customer focussed centre for development of technical competence of employees• Partners with supervisors, HSE advisors, HRBPs and on-ground employees to provide a tailored serviced that ensures national programs meet local needs• Delivery of training and assessment & provide infield VOC and audit services• Support and coaching for embedded trainers, assessors, coaches• Assist in the selection of external training providers• Works with Learning Specialists/Consultants and Digital Learning team in the development of new programs and methodologies• Through partnering with business bring issues, requirements and innovation back to the L&D team to be addressed• Ensure all training and assessment records are maintained in partnership with Training Centre Coordinator• Provides advice on competency framework and training plans to supervisors, managers and employees• Assists in the continuous maintenance of competency frameworks

• Supervision of Repair & Maintenance Crews, including allocation of work.• Preparation of on-site estimates for mains alterations, service alterations and re-connections.• Organise the position of domestic, Industrial and Commercial meter positions consistent with company standards and legislative codes. • Carry out procedural and quality auditing of Repairs and Maintenance crews and First Response Classifiers.• Establish and maintain good working relationships with builders, developers, Queensland & Federal Government Officials, contractors and internal staff.• Assist in the development and review of company procedures.• Provide technical advice to internal and external contacts.• Reconcile and approve contractor invoices. Raise and issue sundry invoices to external parties

• Respond to domestic and commercial reports of gas escapes upstream or downstream of the ball valve (emergency control valve)• Classifying external gas escapes upstream of control valve and reprogram if necessary• Liaise and co-ordinate with emergency services and gas examiners in emergency situations • Problem solve” no gas” and “low pressure” issues • Install or exchange domestic gas meters• Monitor and record any unsafe situations so they can be corrected• Removing water from the gas network• Interpreting gas map drawings• Customer service / public relations• Adhere to company workplace policies and procedures• Work 1 in 6 stand-by emergency call out• Act in supervisor role when needed
