Develop written materials to support Major Gift Officers' relationships with donors, including proposals, stewardship reports and articles in MGH magazine and MGH giving website. Manage direct mail marketing campaign messaging to specific areas of the hospital (currently Neurology and the Corrigan Minehan Heart Center), while also initiating new communication channels, including e-newsletters and stewardship videos.Also work with department chiefs on speech writing and presentation skills.

Regular contributor to the Boston Globe, with reviews and features appearing in Living/Arts, Globe South and North.

Researching four of the first American women sculptors, all of whom have ties to Boston.

Promoted to Director of Development to establish a coordinated program for a 140-year-old respected adult education center. Create infrastructure, appeals and stewardship to build donor base for Annual Fund, Capital Campaign, Grants, and Special Events to meet fundraising goals and raise the profile of the organization in the community, Develop programs to increase visibility and enrollment and strengthen partnerships in the community for an established and respected education and arts center serving 15,000 people annually. Responsible for the award-winning Community Supported Art program (adapting the community supported agriculture model to local artists), as well as special initiatives around history, culture and politics.Research and write both project and capital grants, successfully raising over $800,000 from both public and private foundations.

Originally worked as assistant editor on an award-winning Sunday Magazine. Went on to become the arts editor, managing a staff of 8 and freelance group of 12. Developed a weekly, 36-page pullout section and was responsible for story generation, flow of copy, editing through publication.Promoted to theater critic in 1996. Responsible for all theater review and feature scheduling. Wrote weekly column of theater news, with perspectives on performers and the scene.
