Camp Saturna is a 133-acre environmental education and outdoor recreation camp located on Silver Lake in the North Cascades foothills near Maple Falls, WA. Responsible for program, operations and facilities management.

Managed state-owned aquatic lands in Bellingham Bay, Cherry Point, City of Anacortes and San Juan County. Initiated, negotiated and maintained tenant/client relationships and was responsible for issuing and managing use authorization contracts (leases, easements and licenses) for water dependent uses in complex settings including commercial facilities, industrial piers and environmental cleanup sites. Coordinated regulatory permitting and multi-party stakeholder processes.

Managed a large scale habitat assessment and survey effort for marbled murrelets on state-owned forest land in NW Washington. Developed and issued Requests for Proposals (RFP), reviewed contractor bids, selected successful contractors, managed project budgets, performed contract compliance and supervised technical staff and contractor crews. Developed, managed and maintained GIS habitat and survey database.

Member of marine ecology teams conducting research and monitoring of seabird populations, reproductive performance, foraging ecology and habitat requirements in Washington, Oregon, Alaska and Antarctica. Collected and analyzed large-scale data sets and supervised technical staff.
