As the benefits administrator for UVA Physicians' Group, I not only counselled personnel on their benefits, I was an administrator of the HRIS system, and was a co-administrator of the payroll system.

As the Manager of Benefits and Facilities, I managed the benefit programs. This entailed handling annual renewals and administration of those renewals. I processed and administered our payroll system. I was also the facilities manager. I was the contact person regarding benefits or operational issues for multiple offices, of which several were out of state. Another important piece of my position was to oversee accounts payable and receivable and participate in quarterly audits regarding the same.

As the consulting HR Manager for Stemgent, I worked with this start-up company to put in place HR and benefit systems to get them prepared for a successful future.

As the HR Representative for Comcast Cable, I was basically the liason between the employees and the Management. I did everything from preparing a new hire package to conducting training sessions out in the field. I screened applicants, conducted new hire orientations, and was an advocate and event manager for fun employee functions.

Started in 2001 as an HR Representative and was promoted to Executive Assistant to the Chairman in 2003. Company was sold.

Started in 1996 as a Program Assistant. Moved into Regulatory Affairs in 1999. Moved into HR in January 2000.
