In a break from my corporate career, my wife Dana and I extended a family business to Bentonville. Stone Mill has been a strong brand in Northwest Arkansas for many years, centered in Fayetteville. I completed a comprehensive business plan, obtained financing, designed new building space and started up Stone Mill Cafe, which opened in March 2017. I ensured that processes and tools were in place to enable our General Manager and Dana to effectively manage day-to-day operations. Opening this business has given me great insight and valuable new business skills that I could not have obtained any other way.
