The Young Super Network (YSN) is an organised network of younger professionals working in the superannuation sector. As a committee member of YSN, my main responsibilities include finding prospective presenters for events, introducing speakers, organising functions, and playing host at events to introduce people for networking.

While at Aware Investment Management Group, my role evolved extremely quickly, meaning I gained a large skill base in a relatively short period of time. Initially I was responsible for coordinating the general day-to-day operations of our three main offices around Australia. This involved communicating with the office managers to ensure that any applicable new systems were implemented, that compliance documents were maintained and that communication between the three offices and several advisers was maintained.After I completed my personal study specialising in Financial Services I became an Authorised Representative and Financial Adviser. During which time I serviced my own client base and continued to drive key projects within the wider business network.

While working as a financial adviser my practice established a new Dealer group in which I was heavily involved. My role as Commissions Manager was to establish all new processes for the Dealer Group, as none existed, and also configure the software/system, Commpay.
