From tackling tickets in queue to handling phone calls, working in the IT field requires time efficient methods to fixing tech and assisting users. I am learning Administration. I am learning full features to different software. I am learning something new everyday to keep up new issues that may come up. This position allows me to grow and learn to take initiative in getting the gears moving, whether it is handling a known issue or searching for a solution to a new one.

A work study position at University of Massachusetts Dartmouth for library services. As a LCA, one will assist students, staff, and non-students with issues that comes up in the Learning Commons (Library) with the best of their abilities. Tasks include maintenance on library printers, solving technical or non-technical questions asked by customers, receiving and transferring calls appropriately, and keeping the Learning Commons a work-friendly environment. Overall, the job of a LCA is to meet the expectations and needs of the customer coming into the library.
