Designed data mart for children’s hospital and created 30+ tables with proper clustered and non-clustered index; created multiple functions, CTEs, and views to build and implement business logic. Developed 30+ packages in SSIS 2014 to support ETL process for migrating various source including flat file, excel file and OLEDB data with ICD10, CPT-4, and HCPCS into fact and dimension tables in new data mart in agile environment. Wrote complex stored procedures to handle data transformation and validation for initial and incremental load. Handled slowly changing dimensions utilizing merge function and CDC. Designed and implemented customized logging for ETL process in event handler utilizing SSIS. Implemented and modified report and dashboard using Tableau with proper visualizations and visual interaction including filters, treemaps and KPI cards.
