I am a dynamic teaching professional with extensive academic experience in human anatomy & physiology, gross human anatomy, osteology, embryology/histology/pathology, and biological anthropology on both undergraduate and graduate levels. I have been awarded the "Teacher of the Year" award at two schools. I am passionate about motivating and encouraging students to think critically. I have worked with D2L, Blackboard, and Schoology. I utilize multiple forms of instruction and assessment in my courses and use Swivl, Explain Everything, Nearpod, MyYouTube Studio, and other resources to create interactive learning opportunities and address multiple learning styles and situations. I have experience teaching in a variety of disciplines, including nursing, premed, massage therapy, and chiropractic. I also have experience teaching biology and anthropology. I also teach dissection technique and perform requested prosections for research and seminars. I earned a Tennessee Teaching License in secondary education for biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, and general science at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
