It's been a wonderful twelve years, but effective August 31, 2020 I'll be retiring from Lone Star College System. It's been a great place to work, I've met some wonderfully talented people, and I think we made a difference. It's time to start the next adventure.

Responsible for budget planning for all areas and resource allocation. Works closely with System Facilities Planning and Construction in R&R and new construction. Responsible for ensuring compliance with all local, state, federal codes and regulations. As the Director of Energy & Sustainability Management, this position’s main purpose is to optimize the use of all utilities in a cost effective manner by reducing waste and increasing efficiency. Identifies, supports, and advocates for energy and water management & conservation, introducing and implementing sustainability policies, procedures and programs. Works as liaison to utility providers and area major A&E firms for implementation of energy efficient measures and optimize the utility operating cost of the college. Show less
