I have pursued my passion for computing and design by earning a BSc degree in Computing & IT and Design from the Open University, while simultaneously working full-time. Through this degree, I have honed my skills in software development, web design, project management, and agile development, using tools and languages including Java, C#, C++, NetBeans IDE, Android Studio IDE, and SketchUp.I have utilised my knowledge of Software Engineering methodologies to successfully manage end-to-end projects, overseeing everything from initial idea and designs to development and testing and final deployment of a program of my choice.Furthermore, I have applied my design expertise to create innovative architectural, furniture, and electronic products as part of my degree projects. I am excited to combine my skills in computing, design, and aerospace fabrication to develop impactful solutions.In addition to my academic achievements, I also have substantial work experience as an Aerospace Fabricator at GKN Aerospace, a globally recognized supplier of advanced aerospace systems, components, and technologies. Over the past 15 years, I have consistently produced high-quality components and assemblies for various aircraft and aerospace applications, including wings, fuselages, and engines. Additionally, I have played a crucial role in improving fabrication processes and standards, prioritizing safety, efficiency, and quality.
