As Manager of the band 5th GEAR for 11 years, I handled negotiations with agents, venues, promoters, and production companies. I booked shows, handled band advertising/promotion and arranged production and logistics for live performances. 5th GEAR disbanded in September 2021.As a performer and creator for the band I played keyboards, sang backup vocals and wrote songs. 5th GEAR, a multi-award-winning band featuring Original Country plus Today's Modern Country covers, achieved its success through attention to performance detail and my aggressive media marketing during its 11-year run, forging relationships with agents, venue owners and promoters. Held various job titles throughout several company buyouts/changes, the last being Label Department Manager/Supervisor. While coordinating label and packaging supply distribution for 17 Chiquita warehouses across the USA within a multi-million-dollar budget, I purchased and distributed foodservice labels and packaging worldwide, meeting customer's specific imprinting and destination needs including customs clearance and government compliance by law to meet required country importation regulations.
