• Supervises and provides guidance to Production Operators to achieve Company’s objectives in a safe and fair manner, at the lowest possible cost and the best possible quality level.
• Ensures that the work instructions are followed and that the Production Operators have received the proper training with regard to work instructions, quality and safety procedures.
• Ensures that good housekeeping/5S practices in assigned work cells are adhered to at all times.
• Ensures the efficiency on the work cells assigned is maintained and exceeded daily consistently.
• Prepares and ensures that shift production reporting/ P-charts/ Communications are recorded accurately and on time.
• Assists operators on the work cells assigned with minor machine and automatic adjustments ranging from sequence recovery and robot recovery.

• Arranges set-up and adjustments to ensure that the set-up produces parts according to Company quality standards.
• Does set up, offsets, repairs of the tooling and adjustments as necessary to machines.
• Ensures that all set-ups are done in a proper manner to achieve the Company’s objectives with respect to downtime and tooling cost.
• Operates the workstation as specified in the work instruction.
• Ensures that the workstation is at 5S standards, as specified, at all times.
• In process checks on all machined parts as specified in the work instructions, in order to insure highest quality is met and exceeded.

• Install and adjust cams, gears and stops to the screw machines and verify the positioning of cutting tools by using gauges or other instruments.
• Make changes to speeds, feed rates or tooling position to ensure accurate reproduction of the parts after a first off has been produced,
• Verify that the part meets specifications off the blue prints by using a variety of tools, such as calipers, shadow graphs and micrometers
• Regrind Cutting tools and drills
