I have broad experience in the Financial Services Industry working in New Zealand, The Pacific, Australia, and UK.The main thread of my career has revolved around Risk Management , Health and General Insurance, and I was also fortunate to have been involved at a Senior level during the introduction of the Financial Services Reform Legislation in Australia.I am known to be a highly effective leader, and have developed a high degree of technical capacity within the General and Health Insurance Industries.As the Head of Key Accounts, I am responsible for looking after our key direct accounts and leasing a great team of Relationship Managers, as well as introducing new direct accounts to UniMed.I enjoy continuous development - I hold Fellowship with ANZIIF, a Masters Degree in Business from UTS, and was chosen by my company to attend the Darden Executive development course in 2009 (and the Alumni sessions in 2011). Most recently I’ve completed the Level 5 Financial Services qualification through Open Polytechnic.My son and I practised Taekwon-Do - achieving our Black belts together in 2010 - I've been assistant instructor at my local club in this regard.I’m a keen amateur photographer and enjoy tramping throughout our beautiful country.
