About Terry Henson

Submarine qualified computer navigation electronics technician, programming, operating and repairing mission critical navigation computer systems.Started Fleet Refinishing, now located in Fontana, California, which was a new concept in fleet painting operations. Specifically, I integrated automotive level production repair and refinishing processes to an industry that was based on "blow and go" quality and pricing. Painting school buses, transit equipment, construction equipment, cranes... with top of the line urethanes from companies like Dupont, Sherwin Williams, PPG, Standox was unheard of until I was able to put a few projects out there for the whole world to see. Yellow school buses still retaining gloss and protection after 10+ years. Construction equipment and cranes not having to be painted after every project, but lasting years, saving countless dollars in finishing expenses but more dollars in up time on projects. We were the first company to paint with HVLP guns and Low VOC coatings, pioneering processes with the various paint companies in compliance with very strict So. California SCAQM 1151 regulations.Was able to add years to the life docks, towers, building structures and heavy equipment on Kwajalein Atoll by utilization tried and true processes for prep, prime and paint projects. Blasting, metallization, epoxy, urethanes.Designed and built LED lighting circuits and lamps. Introduced them the the 12v landscape lighting industry.Helped reintroduce infrared paint curing to the heavy industry in Texas and train technicians and even owners in the cost and time savings of production processes, diminishing and even eliminating the dreadful paint booth bottleneck we are all well aware of.Design and install of compressors and clean air systems, for both production and fresh air breathing in hazardous environments.
