I have been appraising property in Northwest Florida and South Alabama since 1972. In 1974 Ronald E. Swaine and I formed the appraisal company of Swaine, Hoffman & Assocates. That company was disolved at the end of 1999. We began with the two partners and expanded to as many as eight full time appraisers specializing in residential and commercal appraisal work. Hoffman & Associates was formed in 2000 specializing only in commercial appraisal work. I presently hold the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute (1992).

The day to day operation of the company in association with the partners. I also completed residential and commercial appraisal assignments along with the remaining staff.
